glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase

glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase
(= GAPD; GAPDH; G3PD)
Glycolytic enzyme (EC 1.2.1.12) that catalyses the reversible oxidative phosphorylation of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate. Has been shown to interact with various elements of the cytoskeleton, and with the trinucleotide repeat in the huntingtin gene.
